Hats and shoes, which complete the beauty of Korean attire, traditionally had as much importance as the costumes. 
Wearing a hat and shoes appropriate to the time, the place and the standing became a mark to symbolize the wearer's authority and status.
In this exhibition, beauty of hats and shoes' shapes through their periodical changes from the Joseon period to the modern era as well as their unique decorative charms expressed according to their materials can be observed through the objects made with a various materials gained from our surroundings. 
Found in the Korean fables and proverbs, tales of hats symbolizing authority and dignity and tales of shoes signifying the hardship of the people traveling a great distance in the past will provide another amusement through the animation.
Finally, the essence of the traditional craftsmanship of making hats and shoes can be experienced through the artisans in the workshop.
