Operation hours

  • March to October: 09:00-18:00 (Entrance is allowed until 17:00)
    ※ Saturday: 09:00-20:00 (Entrance is allowed until 19:00)
  • November to February: 09:00-17:00 (Entrance is allowed until 16:00)
  • Closing days:
    • January 1st
    • Seollal (Lunar New Year's Day)
    • Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day)

Admission: Free of charge

There is a charge for admission to Gyeongbokgung Palace where visitors are required to purchase a ticket at the Gyeongbokgung Palace ticket office.

Viewing fees: Free

All the exhibitions at the National Folk Museum of Korea can be viewed free of charge.

      English: Mon. Wed. Fri. 10:30 / 14:30
      Japanese: Mon. Thu. 11:00 / 15:00, Weekends 11:00
      ※ This program is subject to change due to the Museum's situation and the government's COVID-19 protocol, etc.
      ※ Groups of 10 or more must make a reservation for the docent tour.

Parking Information

National Folk Museum of Korea has no parking lot. Please use the outside parking lot.
