Overview
《Markets and Traveling Entertainers》 is an immersive exhibition representing the theatrical performances of itinerant troupes that toured marketplaces in various areas to show their skills and art in the early twentieth century. In this exhibition, itinerant artists show off their talents in folk music and dance performance, saucer spinning, floor acrobatics, acrobatics on sacred poles, throwing and catching of bamboo bells, tightrope walking, puppet play, and masked dance drama.
