In recent years, Korea have witnessed more and more the mix of ethnic groups, languages and cultures that co-exist in the society as a whole. As a result, foreigners are no longer considered as strangers among Koreans. In other words, they have become our new friends. However, we do not know much about their countries. This special exhibition illustrates the lives of foreign spouses-- from different countries -- to live as one's mothers and wives in Korea. We hope visitors have a better understanding of their culture and embrace the cultural differences throughout the displayed household goods from their own countries in the exhibition.
